I’m Jakub Tokarczyk – a composer and sound designer.

As a freelancer, I work on unique, artistic, and emotionally rich projects, bringing my full creative sensitivity to each collaboration. I shift fluidly between composer and sound designer, always with one goal in mind: to enhance the emotional impact of the film through sound.

I create original music and integrated soundtracks for films, animated movies, video games, and dance performances.

My work blends film scoring with immersive sound design, often drawing on contemporary classical music, acoustic textures, and experimental techniques. I love working with polyrhythms, layered atmospheres, and colorful, illustrative orchestration.

My style combines jazz, folk, and modern sound worlds — tailored to the emotional and narrative needs of every visual story.

For me, music, sound design, and the overall audio quality are essential elements of cinematic storytelling. I put my ego aside to serve the film — crafting immersive sonic experiences that deepen the viewer’s connection to the story.
